Jenna has spent many years tirelessly working to protect our regional environmental assets. She has been a driving force behind the Chapman River Friends. Chapman River Friends is a group of volunteers who are passionate about the Chapman River Regional Park, a little known gem in the midst of the City of Greater Geraldton. A 300 ha area of bushland surrounded by suburbia, this park is home to 300 native plant, 123 bird, 25 reptile and frog species.
Chapman River Friends guide wildlife walks, assist the park managers with revegetation and weed and rubbish removal. Their aim is to increase awareness and enjoyment of this natural environment. “It is a beautiful peaceful place to be and we want you all to appreciate it.
